Program Description
Organizations face common problems as they age, and their ability to deal with them is often the difference between success and failure. This hands-on workshop based on Ichak Adizes’ macro theory of corporate life cycles will help you better understand the dynamics of organizational aging and how to improve work environments. During the program, we will evaluate several organizations using Adizes lifecycle theory. A mastermind discussion will be held after the program to discuss theory vs. reality and drill down into various elements of Adizes theory.
Program Objectives
• Assign realistic goals for OD change efforts and how to ‘sell’ them.
• Recognize how healthy behavior can become harmful overnight.
• Understand the teeter-totter relationship between authority and responsibility.
• Apply the four driving factors of organizational lifecycle theory.
